Today I would like to share some information to help Prevent Defects. I would also like to share my story about my Pregnancy and the defects my child has. I was 21 years old when I got pregnant with my first child. When I was 20 weeks pregnant I found out that my mother had Lung Cancer this was in October. I went through a long sad and painful pregnancy, My mother suffered and the chemo and radiation was not helping her at all. The worst part was that I lived 6 hours away from here and could only go up a couple times a month to visit her. The cancer had spread everywhere in her body, she forgot who I was. She didn't even know who I was, this really broke my heart. Then finally in January she passed away one week before I had my Beautiful daughter. Because I endured all this stress during my pregnancy my child now has several defects. I wasn't aware that stress could cause the child to have defects. I have done a lot of research and have learned the Stress will affect your baby while you are pregnant. My daughter, use to cry all the time when she was a baby. There was nothing I could do to soothe her. We found out that she has sever ADHD, Learning Delays, seizures, and temperament problems. She also has a Hearing delay, and still I think that there is other things that have not been diagnosed. I did everything else right during the pregnancy, I feel so bad that I caused her to suffer due to me.
Here is the risk of stress during pregnancy that affect your baby
pre mature baby
low birth weight
Baby's brain development
attention problems
Heart problems
behavior disorders
temperament problems
immune system
being afraid
asthma
allergies
And many more. The best thing is to try and reduce your stress for you and your baby. I want others to be aware of how serious this is.
